What these terms cover
These terms govern the purchase of packages, sessions and add-ons listed on this site, and use of the site itself. Placing an order means you agree to these terms and to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
How an order forms a contract
An order is placed once you complete checkout and payment (or, with the manual-invoice option, once we confirm receipt of your bank transfer). We e-mail an order confirmation with your reference; the contract is formed at that point, for the scope and price shown on your order.
Packages, add-ons and change requests
Every package is fixed-scope, as described on its service page and in your order confirmation. Add-ons (extra pages, copywriting, second-language versions) are billed at their published per-unit price. A request outside the stated scope — a new feature, extra revision rounds, pages beyond what’s purchased — is a change request, quoted and agreed separately before we start it.
Payment, deposits and recurring billing
As published on the Pricing page and each service page: items under €1,000 are paid in full at checkout; one-off packages of €1,000 or more are paid as a 50% deposit at checkout, with the remaining 50% due before launch; Care Plans and SEO retainers are billed monthly, with the first month charged at checkout.
Your obligations as a client
To keep your project on schedule, you agree to provide content, feedback and approvals in a timely way at each stage, and any account access we need (such as your domain registrar or hosting) when requested.
Revisions
Two rounds of feedback are included per design stage. Further rounds are scoped and quoted as a small extra.
Ownership
You own the deliverables, the domain and the content once your project is paid in full. We may show completed work in our portfolio and case studies unless you ask us not to.
Warranty
We offer a 30-day warranty after launch, covering bug fixes for anything that isn’t working as built. This warranty doesn’t cover new features, content changes, or issues caused by changes made outside liberodesign after handover.
Test-mode payment
The payment flow on this site currently runs in test mode: no real payment is taken through checkout while this applies. The on-screen test-mode notice at checkout shows the current status.
Right of withdrawal (consumers)
If you’re buying as an individual for personal use, you have a 14-day right to withdraw from the contract under Decreto-Lei n.º 24/2014. If you ask us to start work within those 14 days, you’ll be asked for explicit early-start consent; if you later withdraw, you’ll pay for the work already carried out, and you lose the right to withdraw once the service has been fully performed. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for the full process, including the model withdrawal form.
Complaints and dispute resolution
If something goes wrong, contact us first at support@liberodesign.com. You can also register a complaint through the Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico (livroreclamacoes.pt), as Portuguese law requires. For consumer disputes we can’t resolve directly, you may refer the matter to CIAB – Tribunal Arbitral de Consumo (Braga, ciab.pt), the alternative dispute resolution entity for this region.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. For disputes with business clients, the courts of the Braga district have jurisdiction. Consumers keep the right to bring proceedings in the courts of their own place of residence, as Portuguese law provides.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force when you place an order applies to that order.
